Mobile File Manager allows you to connect to remote computers and network shares. Edit web pages and deploy sites, upload photos to websites, transfer files, view graphics on remote computers, edit configuration files, monitor log files and much more, all from your BB handheld. And it’s absolutely FREE!

How it works

Mobile File Manager supports Windows File Sharing, WebDAV, File Transfer Protocol (FTP) and Secure FTP (SFTP) connections. You can make these connections using either:

  • the MDS Service on a BlackBerry脙鈥毭偮?Enterprise Server
  • TCP/IP

Mobile File Manager will automatically detect the best way to connect. If you are on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server, Mobile File Manager will connect through the MDS Service. If you are not on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server, Mobile File Manager will connect through TCP/IP.

Supported devices

  • Color BlackBerry smartphones with OS 4.0 or above (for best results we recommend 64 MB devices with a trackball)

Security

  • TDES or AES with BlackBerry Enterprise Server
  • SFTP with Secure Shell (SSH) encryption
  • WebDAV with SSL encryption
